       
The municipal building for multiple athletic activities will be constructed in the former area of Sfageia. It is a three storey steel structure without basement, founded on piles.
The HEA 700 principal girders as a rule have 432mm diameter web openings for service penetrations. The floors of the two storeys are formed by composite steel deck slabs, consisting of reinforced concrete and steel sheets. On the roof, lightweight concrete is cast on the steel sheeting to provide proper slope. The building is served by metal staircases located at the two sides of it. The complex includes the external framework of solar photovoltaics in order to meet the building’s energy needs).
