Design of three identical elevated trailer silos-hoppers of the Port Organisation of Thessaloniki, which will serve for cereal transshipment.
The structures are entirely made of steel and consist of the silo of capacity 94m3 and its foundation structure. The last has four columns in quadratic position having length 6,50m, which are rigid-connected atop at height 8,10m, by strong beams where the silo skirt is bolted.
The parallel sides to the movement of the trucks are formed by trusses, while in the transverse sides truss covers only the upper span. At their bottom the columns have two wormscrew feet, which come off during the structure transport.
